🔒 Exciting news for #CyberSecurity in Switzerland!
We're thrilled to announce that we, ITNB AG, have partnered with the Canton of Zug, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), and the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) to launch the "IT Security for SMEs" programme, also known as ITSec4KMU. 🚀
This initiative aims to tackle a significant issue - many SMEs view cyberattacks as an abstract threat and are often under-protected. We're here to change that.🛡️
The platform, funded by the Canton of Zug, brings information on cybersecurity tailored specifically for SMEs in an easily digestible format.
Despite the increasing risks, with attacks on Swiss SMEs rising by over 60% last year, the implementation of protective measures has stagnated. ITSec4KMU is here to help bridge this gap. 🌉
The goal? To raise awareness about cybersecurity threats, provide a platform for SMEs to access relevant information and resources, and show that even simple initial steps can significantly enhance cybersecurity protection and resilience. 💪
Furthermore, ITSec4KMU will focus on connecting SMEs with Cybersecurity companies through a nationwide network, coming in the Romandie and Ticino in the near future, ensuring that they can find the most suitable provider for their needs.
We want to thank Heinz Tännler, René Hüsler, Nicole Wettstein, and Sascha Karlen, for the possibility of being part of such an important project.
Also, thank you to our partner IBM, with Albert Puah and Domenico Lojacono present at the launch of the project the 15.11.2023 in Zug, at the Hochschule Luzern - Informatik.
